Be a part of the action

Thank you to all the volunteers who are helping us at the races! We truly appreciate all you are doing to help keep the course safe and make this a great experience for the cyclists coming in from around the world. Please check your email, because we've sent some follow-up details about training and t-shirt pickup.

Overview of volunteer tasks

Volunteers need to be 16 and older, and we're happy to sign for service hours.
Here are some of the positions you can expect to see:

Course Marshal

Keep a specific section of the race course clear and safe.

Anti-Doping Chaperone

Antidoping-thumb
Escort athletes to the official anti-doping test tent.

Transportation Facilitator

Transportation-thumb
Provide support for traffic flow with teams, spectators, etc.

Credential Monitor

Make sure only athletes and officials get into the Athlete Village.

Other Duties

Athlete Food Service: Dish out the good stuff as directed by the catering staff.

Fan Engagement: Cheerlead to keep spectators encouraging the racers.

Hospitality and Registration: The face of welcome and information for teams and VIPs.

Production and Event Assistance: Strong arms & backs for set-up and tear-down.

Sector Captain: Keystone people -- these experienced volunteers support Course Marshals.
