We want to thank each and every one of you who have signed up to volunteer at the upcoming 2026 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships. You are helping us reach our goal of having a safe, successful event and we have made significant progress!
We still have about 150 shifts to fill (that number was originally at 900 when we started!) and if you would like to help, you can sign up for a shift here.
We especially need course marshal volunteers on Sunday and Monday, September 6-7. But guess what? Those are the Road Race days, and they’re very exciting to watch! Please spread the word to your family and friends. Anyone 16 or older can help as a course marshal, and we’re happy to sign for service hours if needed. Younger children are welcome to come and sit next to you and cheer.
We will put our volunteers in a drawing for prizes, and we’ve collected some great items to give away. If you complete more than one shift, you’ll be entered in the drawing multiple times! (2 shifts = 2 entries, 3 shifts = 3 entries, etc.)
These prizes have been proudly donated from local organizations in Huntsville, and we thank each of them. If you’re a business and would like to donate something to the prize bucket, please email Kayla Brown at kbrown@hsvchamber.org.

How to win:
- Sign up for at least one volunteer shift.
- For every shift after your initial one, you get an additional entry into the drawing. (Ex: Three shifts = three entries; Six shifts = six entries)
- Complete your shift(s).
- Winners will be randomly drawn the Friday after race weekend on Sept. 11, 2026.
